Nunns Mazda Grimsby Helps The Canoe River Cleaner Tidy Up Lincolnshire Rivers While Travelling Emissions-free!
Nunns Mazda Grimsby is supporting Jim, The Canoe River Cleaner by providing him with the all-electric Mazda MX-30 to use to help him continue his eco efforts within the community.
James Elliott, also known as The Canoe River Cleaner, has been cleaning up the river Freshney for the last two years to improve the health of the waters. Equipped with a 16ft open-top Canadian style canoe, during his eco campaign James has faced everything from dumped bicycles, abandoned trolleys and fished out masses of plastic before it breaks down into microparticles and finds its way into the ocean.
With the help of Mazda’s first battery electric vehicle, James can continue to travel to and from the river all while travelling emissions free and in the comfort of the MX-30’s stylish and sustainable cabin. Aligning with James’s respect for environmental conservation, the Mazda MX-30 features high-quality sustainable materials including cork leftover from the production of bottle stoppers, materials made from recycled plastic bottles and fibres from recycled thread.
Commenting on the collaboration, Paul Scrivens, Sales Manager at Nunns Mazda Grimsby, said “Nunns Mazda is proud to be able to sponsor James.
